China-Europe Venture Capitalist and High-tech Entrepreneur Exchange and Cooperation Program
 
 



 For sake of both European and Chinese industrial and finance communities, China Venture Capital Research Institute initiated the program in 2003; the Appraisals from its participants of both sides of China and Europe are highly encouraging. Given the constructive role in the collaboration of both peoples especially business community, We (CVCRI) continuously perform the project for 2004.

2004 program aims its objectives of

- Promoting exchange and business cooperation among European and Chinese Venture capital and private equity investors and industrial executives

- Providing an opportunity for Chinese venture capitalists, industrial elites to gain a better understanding of the European investment environment and the development of high-tech and venture capital industry.

- Providing a good opportunity for European counterparts to understand and learn more about China¡¯s investment environment, the characteristics of Chinese business elites, and China¡¯s investment projects.

- Exploring the possibilities of the collaboration between Chinese and European investors and industrial elites in venture capital, mergers and acquisitions, tech-transfer, and others.

- Building up a business connection and friendships between European and Chinese business elites. This will surely help each other in doing business in China and Europe The program goes through two weeks and starts from the day of 12th Sep 2004 ending by the day of 26th Sep 2004. All the participants from both sides are very diverse geographically and industrially, for instance Chinese participants come from 9 provinces with industries background range from IT, Pharmacy, Communication to Investment. All of them are the managing roles of decision-making level. The topic-orientated conference, roundtable meeting and specially designed company visiting are organized for participant for them to interact to heavily harvest that they expect.
