"China Venture Capital Forum" was founded in 1998
by Professor Cheng Siwei who is Vice Chairman of the Standing
Committee of the National People's Congress. The forum, held
annually, is the largest and most influential event on Chinese
venture capital. Since 1998, this forum has been held five
times, and over 400 participants take part in the forum every
year, which keep a sharp eye on the newest concepts, actions,
tendencies in the international venture capital and integrate
the argumentation of theory of venture capital with the exchange
of operational experiences, financing case analysis, project
road shows, exhibitions and negotiations, etc.The forum has
attracted and assembled numerous famous distinguished scholars,
government officers and leading practitioners from China and
around the world to carry out extensive discussions on the
theory and practices facing China¡¯s venture capital industry.
The forum has already become magnificent event for domestic
and overseas venture capitalists, start-up entrepreneurs,
the senior managers of venture capital intermediaries and
policy makers.
