Profile of Innovative Economy Engine-World Venture Capitalism and China

Ever since the reform and opening up, China¡¯s economy has enjoyed concerted growth for more than two decades and its remarkable achievements have drawn wide attention from all over the world. However, the dramatic development was gained at the expense of huge capital input, tremendous consumption of resources, low economic efficiency and inferior productivity and serious environmental pollution, as the consequences of the growth mode of the extensive economy. This economic growth mode has seriously aggravated many bottleneck problems incurred by resources, energy shortages and environmental pollutions etc. Transformation of the mode of economic growth, comprehensive adjustment of the economic structure and resolutely developing innovative economy are the utmost important strategies of China at the moment.
